Leh: The Union Territory Administration of Ladakh has deputed a team of officers from various departments to support the upcoming Independence Day celebrations on August 15, 2025.
The deployment includes officials from departments such as Public Works (R\&B), Agriculture, Industries, Housing and Urban Development, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Forest, Home, Tourism, Planning, Social Welfare, Education, and Finance.
Key officers assigned for duties include Deputy Secretaries, Under Secretaries, Assistant Directors, Lecturers, and Officiating Account Officers, all currently serving at the UT Secretariat and associated directorates. These officers will play essential roles in the planning, coordination, and smooth execution of the celebration across Leh district.
All deputed officials have been directed to attend briefing sessions in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Leh, as per instructions from the concerned authorities.
The Deputy Commissioner will also mobilize support from other district-level officers as required.
This administrative coordination aims to ensure a smooth, well-organized, and respectful celebration of the nation’s 79th Independence Day in Ladakh.
