
KV Kargil celebrates Independence Day with patriotic fervour
Kargil: The spirit of patriotism and pride echoed through the premises of Kendriya Vidyalaya Kargil as the school celebrated the 77th Independence Day with enthusiasm.
The program commenced with a vibrant morning assembly, setting the tone for the celebrations. The national Flag was hoisted by the principal of the school.
A heartwarming rendition of ‘Sare Jahan Se Achha’ resonated with the audience, emphasizing the importance of unity and diversity.
The principal stressed the need to work collectively to eliminate illiteracy and inequality, while also highlighting the school’s dedication to value education and the cultivation of a scientific temper among students.
The students showcased their patriotism through various performances. Aashi Bahal from class 8th presented a speech on Independence Day. It was followed by numerous other performances like group patriotic songs by Fatima and group, class 12th girls, solo patriotic song by Ummul Baneen of class 7th, a drama by Rinchen Mehdi, Rehan and group, a speech by Sabika Zahra of class 8th, group dance performances by Nabeeha and group of class 2nd, Hakima And Nusrat of class 3rd, Amina and group of class 5th, Suhani and group, Mehroon and group, Gufran and group of class 3rd.
In the end, the Principal KV Kargil spoke about the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and emphasised the contribution of people from different walks of life and also by the people of all castes and religions to make the country free from British rule.
