Khardoon Archery Team lifts Traditional Archery Tournament Cup in Kargil

Kargil: Khardoon Team won the Inter Block Traditional Archery Tournament Thursday which concluded at Zgang Chiktan.

Executive Councilor Agriculture, LAHDC, Kargil Mohsin Ali was the chief guest on the occasion.

The tournament was organized by Youth Association Zgang which is one of the rarest events in the traditional archery competition.

EC Mohsin urged the association to try to revive traditional archery which will help in the revival of the game and help attract tourists to the region.

He also gave a cash prize of Rs 10,000 to the organizers. The EC also announced Rs 5 lakh to MS Zgang Chiktan out of his CDF in the coming session.

Later, he distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams. On the occasion, large number of villagers and PRI members were present on the occasion.

Various teams from Shakar Chiktan Block participated.
