Khaltsi, Leh, November 15, 2025:
The Khaltsi Sub-Division Administration on Saturday conducted the Mimang-Si-sJabstogs public outreach programme across five remote villages—Fotoksar, Fanjila, Hinju-Ursi, Hanupata and Wanla—bringing essential government services directly to local residents.
A multi-departmental team from Revenue, Health, Agriculture, PHE, PDD, R&B, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Horticulture, Veterinary, Social Welfare, Rural Development, Food & Civil Supplies, and State Bank of India provided on-the-spot services. These included health check-ups, certificate issuance, beneficiary registrations, document verification and enrollment under various government schemes.
Villagers highlighted issues related to road connectivity, drinking water, irrigation facilities and welfare entitlements. While several minor concerns were resolved during the camp, major demands were formally recorded for priority action. Officials also briefed residents on ongoing welfare schemes and guided them through application processes.
Residents expressed appreciation for the doorstep outreach, noting its importance for remote communities with limited access to administrative offices.
The Sub-Division Administration reaffirmed its commitment to conducting regular outreach camps and ensuring swift follow-up on all grievances raised during the programme.
