K.V. Kargil organises Annual sports day

Kargil: The Annual Sports Day was celebrated today at K.V. Kargil with zeal and enthusiasm and students took a keen interest in various events.
The various events that were held included 100m race, table tennis, volleyball, tug-of-war, standing broad jump, skipping rope, sack race, spoon-marble race and balloon game.
Chief Education Officer Kargil, Mushtaq Ahmad was the chief guest on the occasion. The games in which only primary students participated were sack race, spoon-marble, skipping rope and balloon game. The events started at 9:30 a.m.
The winners of various events are as follows.
The tug-of-war (girls) was won by Ashoka House (Shahnaz XI, Fatima Kubra VII, Rimi X, Leela Banoo XI, Arjuman XI, Zahra XII, Gulshan XII). The runner-up team was Raman House (Archo VII, Mutaharay IX, Aishwin IX, Kaneez X, Archo Zeeba X, Shahnaz X, Zahra IX, Najuma IX).
In standing jump (boys) Mohd Ali X (Tagore House), Shujat X (Raman House) and Mohd XII (Shivaji House) got first, second and third positions respectively.
The winners of the standing jump (girls) include Praveen Fatima (Tagore House), Zahra Batool IX (Raman House) and Nargis X (Tagore House) got first, second and third positions respectively.
Similarly, in skipping rope (girls) Gulshan XII (Ashoka House), Fatima IX (Tagore House) and Kaneez Fatima X (Raman House) got first, second and third positions respectively.
In 100 m race (boys) Imtiyaz X (Shivaji House), Liyaqat IX (Tagore House), and Mohd Hussain IX (Ashoka House) got first, second and third positions respectively.
In 100 m race (girls) Praveen VII (Tagore House), Cho Cho Fatima VI (Shivaji House) and Sajida VII (Ashoka House) got first, second and third positions respectively.
From primary section, the winners were as follows:
In skipping rope (Girls) Ummul Baneen-V (Ashoka House), Tabassum V (Shivaji House) and Amina IV (Shivaji House) got first, second and third positions respectively.
In 100 m race (boys) Mohd Ali V (Shivaji House), Jilani V (Tagore House) and Habibullah IV (Raman House) got first, second and third positions respectively.
Similarly, in 100m race (girls) Zahra III (Raman House), Zareena IV (Tagore House) and Roqiya IV (Shivaji House) got first, second and third positions respectively.
In sack race (boys) Mohd Ali IV (Raman House), Iftiqar II (Tagore House) and Abass Ali III (Ashoka House) got first, second and third positions respectively.
In sack race (girls) Ridda II (Shivaji House), Zahra III (Raman House) and Fatima Zahra V (Ashoka House) got first, second and third positions respectively.
In spoon and marble race (boys) Mohd Hussain V (Raman House), Mohd Hussain V (Raman House) and Zaheer III (Shivaji House) got first, second and third positions respectively.
In spoon and marble race (girls) Raziya Khatoon II (Shivaji House), Maqsooma Banoo IV (Raman house) and Sakina Batool V (Ashoka house) got first, second and third positions respectively.
In balloon game (boys) Zulfikar I (Tagore house) was declared winner and in balloon game (girls) Zahra Batool I (Raman house) was declared winner.
In table tennis (boys) Murtaza Ali Khan XI (Shivaji House), Muntazir IX (Tagore House) and Mustafa XI (Shivaji House) got first, second and third positions respectively.
In table tennis (girls) Khairun Nissa VIII (Raman House), Mehroon Nissa XII (Tagore House) and Fareeda XI (Tagore House) got first, second and third positions respectively.
The annual sports day was a huge success as the participation was in huge numbers with full enthusiasm and students participated in various events.
The chief guest gave prizes to the winners of various events. After prize distribution, the students were given refreshment by their respective class teachers.
