Janbhagidari event held at Primary School Spituk

Spituk: As part of the Janbhagidari events celebration, District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Leh today organised a painting competition at Government Primary School, Spituk.

In the painting competition more than 50 students participated. To commemorate the World Environment Day the theme of painting competition was ‘Save the Environment’.

Head Teacher Tsering Dorje was the chief guest and he spoke on the importance of cleanliness around us.

The event was attended by School Management Committee (SMC), Village Education Committee (VEC), Parents, Villagers besides the school students and teachers.

Later, prizes were distributed among the outstanding students of the painting competition.

Janbhagidari events are being celebrated in all Govt schools across Indian State from 1st to 15th June 2023. The first theme is ‘Ensuring Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, especially in the context of blended learning’.
