International Biodiversity Day: Plantation drive held in Leh
Leh: The International Biodiversity Day was celebrated at the Trans-Himalayan Herbal garden of the National Institute of Sowa Rigpa at Phay Monday.
On this occasion, a plantation drive was carried out in which the staff members of the National Institute of Sowa Rigpa, Leh planted 45 types of medicinal plants and other species.
Director, NISR Leh, Dr Padma Gurmet inaugurated the plantation drive which will continue till World Environment Day on 5th June 2023.
