October 31, 2025: In a proud moment for Ladakh, Inspector Manzoor Hussain from Drass, Ladakh Police, has been awarded the prestigious “Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak 2025” by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, for his exceptional performance in the field of investigation.
The award, approved by the Hon’ble Union Home Minister, recognises officers across India for their outstanding service and professional excellence in policing.
Superintendent of Police, Kargil, Shree Ram R, congratulated Inspector Manzoor Hussain and said that this achievement highlights the determination, discipline, and investigative skills that define Ladakh Police.
Speaking over the telephone, Inspector Manzoor Hussain expressed his gratitude to his superiors and colleagues, saying that the recognition is the result of coordination and teamwork from top to bottom in the hierarchy. He also thanked the Government of India for acknowledging the efforts of officers from even the remotest corners like Drass, adding that such recognition inspires them to work harder and give their hundred percent in service to the nation.
