LEH: In a remarkable display of service and commitment, the Indian Army’s Fire and Fury Corps organised a medical camp at Phobrang village near Pangong Tso, situated at an altitude of 14,500 feet in eastern Ladakh.
The camp, held under Operation Sadbhavana, aimed to provide essential healthcare services to residents living in one of the region’s most remote and high-altitude areas. A dedicated team of Army doctors and a dentist offered free consultations and distributed medicines to 126 community members, ensuring medical aid reached those with limited access to regular health facilities.
Such initiatives by the Fire and Fury Corps continue to strengthen the bond between the Army and local communities, reaffirming the spirit of compassion and service even in the toughest terrains of the Himalayas.
