Leh, March 15: Imteeaz Kacho, a senior officer of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS), on Sunday assumed charge as Director of School Education in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Soon after taking charge, Kacho held an introductory meeting with officials and staff at the Directorate of School Education, where he interacted with employees and discussed the functioning of the department.
During the interaction, he emphasised the importance of teamwork, dedication and coordination in strengthening the education sector in Ladakh. He also assured that efforts would be made to further improve the quality of school education and ensure effective implementation of various educational initiatives in the Union Territory.
Officials and staff members welcomed the new Director and assured him of their full cooperation in achieving the goals of the department.
