
‘Historical Perspective of Ladakh-Crossroads of Civilisations’ seminar commences at Leh

Advisor to Ladakh, Dr Pawan Kotwal, IAS gave an overview on the infrastructure development in Ladakh being pursued by the Government in various sectors covering infrastructure, health, tourism, power, agriculture and allied sectors. He underlined that all projects have been conceived as Carbon Neutral projects.
Tsewang Gyalson brought out the thematic areas being addressed under the Vibrant Village Programme
Col Atul Bhardwaj elucidated the role of the Indian Army in support of the Vibrant Village programme.
He highlighted the deep and intimate synergy of the civil administration and the Armed Forces in the development of the region
Maj Gen AK Chaturvedi, AVSM, VSM (Retd) highlighted India’s strategic connectivity push in Ladakh. While bringing out the challenges he highlighted the technological innovations being employed to surmount them.
