Leh: His Holiness Dalai Lama Dalai Lama on Wednesday attended the closing ceremony of 10-day long Ling-Gon Yarchos Chenmo concluded at Lingshed Monastery.
The guests of honours were Venerable Rinpoches and the Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson who’s also the elected Councillor from Lingshed Constituency. His Holiness was accompanied by various dignitaries from CTA Dharamshala.
The closing ceremony had the presence of Venerable monks & nuns from different monasteries, President Anjuman Moin-Ul-Islam, President Christian Association Leh, President LBA Sham, President LBA Women wing, sub-divisional officials led by SDM Khaltse, BJP Mandal President, and Gen. Secy of Singay Lalok, Co-founder HIAL, Sonam Wangchuk, village representatives led by Sarpanches and Nambardar from Yulchung, Nerags, Dipling, Zingchen, Skumpata, and Lingshed, besides a huge gathering of people from all over Leh and Zanskar region.
