
High School Anlay Khaldo gets Solar-Powered Room Heating System
LEH: Dy Chairman/EC Education, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk inaugurated the ‘Solar-Powered Room Heating System’ at Govt. High School, Anlay Khaldo Sunday.
‘Let’s Spread Warmth’ is a CSR project funded by Giesecke & Devrient MS India Pvt. Ltd., conceptualized by Royal Bikers and implemented by Noora Aman Foundation, J&K at GHS Anlay Khaldo.
Special guests during the event included Councillor Nyoma, LAHDC Leh, Ishey Spalzang; Chief Education Officer Leh, S.D Namgail; Commander 70 Brigade, Brig. Shailendra Bisht; Chakzod Anlay Monastery, Chairman Noora Aman Foundation, Farooq Ahmad Sheikh; Manish & Rajendra from Royal Bikers, and Abdullah from AB Enterprise.
The event also had the participation of village Sarpanch, school headmaster-led students, and a large number of villagers from Anlay.
Dy Chairman Angchuk expressed his gratitude to the foundations for the noble gesture of equipping the school with solar-powered heating systems. They also highlighted major initiatives undertaken by the Hill Council, Leh in ensuring quality education and strengthening the school education system at the grass root level. He also assured all possible assistance in future for such collaborative initiatives.
Councillor Ishey also thanked the foundations for the initiative and emphasised that the students would largely benefit from it. He also highlighted major plans, especially under the Vibrant Villages Programme aimed at strengthening border villages including Anlay and assured the villagers of timely ensuring all planned developmental works.
Officials from the foundations expressed their happiness over the implementation of the much-awaited project at Govt. High School, Anlay Khaldo. They extended their gratitude to the stakeholders involved in making the project a reality and further thanked the supporters for their roles in implementing the project at the school.
Guests and supporters were felicitated during the event and the event concluded with vibrant cultural performances from the students and the villagers.
