HH Dalai Lama to visit Zanskar, Ladakh in July 2024

Zanskar: Zanskar Buddhist Association and All Zanskar Gonpa Association, Venerable Head Lama, Karsha Gonpa and In-Charge of Karsha Yarchos Chemo Organizing Committee extended invitation to His Holiness the Dalai Lama to visit Ladakh.

The distinguished delegation from Zanskar comprising Passang Lhawang, President of the Zanskar Buddhist Association, along with Geshe Chetan Chonjor, President of the All Zanskar Gonpa Association, Geshe Padma Wangyal, Venerable Head Lama of Karsha Gonpa, and Geshe Larampa Lobzang Tsetan, In-Charge of Karsha Yarchos Chemo Organizing Committee, had the esteemed privilege of meeting His Holiness the Dalai Lama at his residence in Dharamshala.

The purpose of their audience with His Holiness is to discuss matters of spiritual importance to Zanskar Sub – Division, seek guidance on various initiatives aimed at fostering peace and harmony, and to humbly invite His Holiness the Dalai Lama to bless the land of Zanskar with his gracious presence.

During the meeting, the delegation conveyed their heartfelt invitation to His Holiness to grace the beautiful region of Zanskar with his presence this summer.

It is with great joy and gratitude that we announce His Holiness the Dalai Lama has graciously accepted the invitation to visit Zanskar.

The prospect of His Holiness’s visit fills the hearts of the people of Zanskar with immense happiness and anticipation.

His Holiness’s spiritual wisdom and compassionate presence will undoubtedly bless the land and its inhabitants, leaving a lasting impact on all who have the privilege of receiving his blessings.
