Health camp commences in Leh
LEH: Health and Medical Education Department Leh in Thursday organized Health Camps during Annual Monlam Chenmo Congregation, at Dharma Centre Choglamsar.
The camps were held in coordination with National Health Mission UT Ladakh.
Commenced today, the camp will conclude on May 15, 2023. During the health camp multiple facilities were provided at General Health CheckUp, NCDs which include Breast Cancer Screening, Blood Sugar tests, BP Check, Sowa Rigpa medicine, Nutrition Counselling and Dental Checkups.
For scores of patients who attended were provided with free medicines during the camp.
Generation of Golden Card under Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana (PMJAY) and Health ID (Ayushman Bharat Health Account -ABHA) under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) of UT Ladakh was also done during the camp.
The NHM and concerned health department of the UT from time to time have been holding healthcare camps providing free service and medicines to the people.
