Kargil, Dec 12 — The birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatima Zehra (SA) was celebrated with profound religious fervour and devotion at the Imam-e-Sahib Zaman Educational Centre (IZEC), Lankerchey, joining similar commemorations held across the world.
A large number of people, including students, participated in the gathering. Hujjatul Islam wal Muslimeen Aga Syed Towha Rizvi, Chairman of Inqalab-e-Mehdi Kargil Ladakh, attended as the Special Guest, while Aga Raza Rizvi was the Guest of Honour.
Other prominent attendees included Sheikh Murtaza Ansari, General Secretary of Anjuman-e-Inqalab-e-Mehdi Suru, Akhoon Mohammad Hussain (Ustad-e-Muhtarram), and senior citizens of the area. The programme began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by an IZEC student.
Addressing the gathering, Aga Syed Raza Rizvi spoke about the noble and exemplary life of Hazrat Fatima Zehra (SA), stressing that her legacy continues to inspire unity and compassion within the community.
Sheikh Murtaza Ansari highlighted her steadfastness against oppression and her commitment to the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), urging attendees to uphold unity and harmony.
Special Guest Aga Syed Towha Rizvi reflected on the enduring relevance of Hazrat Fatima’s teachings and prayed for peace and solidarity. He also expressed gratitude to the organizers for arranging the event.
The programme was conducted by Nazir Ali Nazz, while Mohd Ali Rozi presented the vote of thanks.
As part of the celebrations, the centre also declared its annual examination results. An award and prize distribution ceremony was held in which meritorious students were honoured by the guests.
