Gyalson reviews organisation re-structure, manpower assessment of PDD

LEH: Chairman/CEC Tashi Gyalson convened a meeting Friday to discuss and review the organisation re-structure and manpower assessment of the Power Development Department (PDD) in Leh.

The meeting aimed to address various pertinent issues related to the department’s operations and future development.

The officials deliberated a range of agendas to facilitate an optimal and efficient organisational structure within the Power Development Department. The discussions focused on streamlining the Organisational Re-structure, assessment of manpower within the department in different roles and positions, and various other issues.

CEC Gyalson emphasised the importance of developing a sustainable structure not only within the Power Development Department but also across other nodal agencies related to power development in Ladakh.

Executive Councillor for Minority Affairs, Ghulam Mehdi; Executive Councillor for Agriculture, Stanzin Chosphel; Chief Engineer PDD, Tsewang Paljor; SE PDD Leh, Xen PDD Leh, AEEs, Representatives from RECPDCL, President Ladakh Power Engineers Association, and President Non-Gazzetted electrical Employees Association Leh attended the meeting.

Later in the day, Chairman/CEC, Tashi Gyalson chaired a meeting to discuss plans for establishing ropeway projects in Leh. The CEC directed the concerned officials to exercise & study the feasibility of the projects.
