Gyalson attends Annual Parent’s Day celebration cum Community Mobilisation at Skara Yokma

LEH: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson graced the Annual Parent’s Day celebration cum Community Mobilisation at Government Primary School, Skara Yokma on Monday.

Lower Leh Councillor, Tsering Namgyal and Chief Education Officer, Leh, S D Namgyal were the guest of honour.

ZEPO Leh; Executive Director, LEDeG; MC ward member; Members of School Management Committee; various other officers, village PRI representatives, school teachers, parents and the students enthusiastically participated in the event.

Addressing the gathering, CEC Tashi Gyalson lauded the confidence and the calibre exhibited by the students in their performances and appreciated the teachers and the students for the involved participation of all the students in the different activities.

CEC Gyalson highlighted the committed efforts of the Hill Council Leh in making the government schools at par with the private schools in their performance academically and holistically. He also expressed satisfaction over the performance of the school and its continued committed to excellence with the commendable involvement of the community and involved stakeholders.

The school students performed skits and a number of musical performances enthralling the audiences. Furthermore, the students exhibiting exemplary performance and achieving noteworthy accomplishments during the academic year were felicitated by the dignitaries.
