LEH: Various camps with activities focused on the nationwide campaign of Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur 2022 under Good Governance Week (Dec 19-25) were held in Durbuk and Likir sub-division of Leh district.
Good Governance Week under Sushasan Saptah Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur (SSPGA) 2022 aims to redress public grievances, improve delivery of services and promote citizen-centric governance.
A public grievance redressal & gender-based violence awareness camp was held at Sub-Division Durbuk today. Councillor Konchok Stanzin; BDC Chairman Konchok Phuntsog; Sarpanches/Panches & public along with the officers/officials of different departments participated in the event.
To ensure effective and on-the-spot deliverance of services to the beneficiaries various departmental stalls were installed. The public were also sensitised about gender-based violence and the importance of gender equality.
The observation of Good Governance Week kick started at Hemis Schukpachan village in sub-division Liker in presence of SDM Likir.

As a part of the nationwide campaign of Prashasan Goan Ki Aur, various government services were delivered to the beneficiaries by various government departments like Revenue, Police, ICDS, Animal Husbandry and Health department and also provided on spot redressal of grievances.
