GMDC Zanskar organizes cleanliness drive
Zanskar: To promote responsible tourism and preserve the pristine beauty of tourist destinations of Zanskar, Government Model Degree College Zanskar organized a cleanliness drive as part of Swachhata Campaign 3.0.
The event took place with enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members of the college.
The picturesque tourist sites of Zangla and Sani, known for their natural charm and cultural significance, were the focus of this initiative.
During the cleanliness drive, volunteers from GMDC Zanskar actively engaged in collecting litter, debris, and waste materials in and around the scenic locations.
This campaign reflects the college’s dedication to making a meaningful difference in the local community and promoting eco-friendly practices among students and residents.
Special Campaign 3.0 marks a significant milestone, coinciding with a decade of Swachhata based initiatives. This campaign promises to be extraordinary as the Ministry of Development planned a course of action by consolidating its past efforts. It will highlight initiatives that can be implemented in the coming years, with active participation from all the stakeholders.
