Leh: On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, Govt. Degree College, Nubra released its first edition of bi-annual newsletter entitled ‘Ldumra’.
Dr. Tsewang Motup, Principal of the college formally released the newsletter during a brief ceremony in presence of the members of Magazine/Publication/Press committee, faculty members and the students of the college. While speaking on the occasion Dr. Tsewang Motup (Principal) applauded the team members of the concerned committee for their efforts and hard work to bring out the maiden edition of the college Newsletter (Ldumra) and advised to make it a regular feature.

He asserted that the newsletter of an educational institution is a forum to showcase the potential of the faculty and students and a medium to exhibit the various co-curricular activities that are conducted by various committees of the college during the academic session. He further added that publication of this newsletter was possible due to the fact that UT Administration provided adequate funds for such activities and he expressed thanks and gratitude to Ms. Padma Angmo (IIS), the worthy Commissioner/ Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department, UT Ladakh for her constant support.
Dr. Stanzin Namgail, convenor of Magazine/Publication/Press committee has extended gratitude to all the members of the committee for the constant support to materialise the first edition of the newsletter and on behalf of the committee members he also assured to continue the edition.

Later on the committee members distributed the newsletters among the college students, staff and also dispatched a copy of it to various concerned departments of the UT Ladakh.
