Nubra, Dec 10 — Government Degree College (GDC) Nubra hosted a one-day campus exposure tour for Class 12 students from Higher Secondary School Disket, aiming to familiarise them with college life and the academic opportunities available after school.
The visiting students were taken on a guided tour of the campus, where they explored key facilities including the library, newly upgraded laboratories, newly constructed classrooms, sports amenities, and newly built hostels for both boys and girls. The tour was followed by an interactive session on academic programmes, admission procedures, and various career paths open to them.
Students also had the opportunity to interact with faculty members and college students, gaining meaningful insights into academic expectations, extracurricular opportunities, and the overall campus culture at GDC Nubra.
In the session, Principal of GDC Nubra, Rigzin Sandup, briefed the students on the college’s resources, academic structure, and the holistic support provided to students. The exposure visit, he said, was designed to inspire and guide young learners as they prepare for their next academic chapter.
The tour proved enriching and motivational, helping students build clearer aspirations and better understanding of the higher education environment awaiting them. A total of 50 students participated in the programme, accompanied by their principal and teachers.
