Leh: A Day-long interactive workshop was conducted today at Government Degree College (GDC), Nubra. The workshop was organized by the Seminar and Debate Committee of GDC Nubra in collaboration with IIT Jammu.

A five-member team led by Dr Sayanthan Mandal of the Humanities Department of IIT Jammu visited the college.
The session started with a formal welcome of the guests by the Principal, GDC Nubra, Dr Tsewang Motup.
Later, a detailed discussion and interaction on the topic ‘Integrating teaching learning and digital education in higher education pre and post Covid-19’ took place between the faculty and the college students in two parallel sessions.

Various challenges and problems faced by the faculty and the students during the pandemic were discussed. The session also deliberated the possible solutions and personal experiences of each faculty and student.
The session ended with a vote of thanks by Assistant Professor Sabah Sharif, who is also the Convener, Seminar and Debate Committee of GDC Nubra.
