GDC Kargil holds orientation program on NEP

KARGIL: Government Degree College Kargil Wednesday organized an orientation program on the New Education Policy for the faculty members.

Professor Deskyong Namgyal, Controller Examinations (UoL) and Professor Tashi Ldawa Dean Academic Affairs (UoL) were key speakers on the occasion. Principals and faculty members of GDC Kargil, GDC Drass and GDC Sankoo participated in the program.

Dr Amina Quari, Principal, GDC Kargil presented the welcome address. Tashi Ldawa, Dean Academic Affairs threw light on the objectives of the orientation program.

Professor Deskyong Namgyal explained in detail the functioning and structure of the New Education Policy, 2020.

Pertinently, the NEP would be implemented in Ladakh University and its constituent colleges from July this year.

Namgyal spoke at length on how the NEP will be implemented in the UoL and its colleges. A question-answer session was also held in which the key speakers cleared the doubts and answered the queries of participating faculty members regarding the NEP.
