Former CEC Leh Dorjay Motup remembered on his 4th Death Anniversary

Leh: Former Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, late Dorjay Motup was remembered on his 4th death anniversary Friday. A symbolic function was organised to observe the anniversary at the Dorjay Motup Memorial Park at Housing Colony, Leh.

Chairman/CEC, Tashi Gyalson along with Dy Chairman Tsering Angchuk, Executive Councillor for RDD, Tashi Namgyal Yakzee, Executive Councillor for Agriculture, Stanzin Chosphel, Councillors of LAHDC Leh, Former CEC, Gyal P Wangyal, members of BJP Ladakh, and the family members of late Dorjey Motup paid tribute at his memorial park.

Addressing the gathering, CEC Gyalson stated that Late Dorjay Motup was a people’s leader, with an ideal and desirable leadership quality that can ever be imagined. He emphasised that late DM was a man with values who worked hard for the upliftment of the under-developed people of Ladakh.

Dy Chairman Angchuk and EC Tashi Yakzee also addressed and stated that late DM was one of the efficient leaders in the history of LAHDC Leh and he had a tremendous contribution to the overall development of Leh and especially Changthang region in particular and Ladakh at large.

The dignitaries also laid the foundation stone for the construction of a memorial stupa at the memorial park.
