Leh: First time in the history, two junior athletes from Kargil district of Ladakh UT are participating in National Inter District Junior Athletics Meet (NIDJAM).
Junior athletes including Asif Ali and Minhal Tak have been selected to participate in the sports event.
The twin players will be accompanied by official Tahir Ahmad.
Junior Athletics Meet is scheduled to be held in Patna Bihar.
Pertinent to mention here that, each edition of NIDJAM touches the lives of more than 100,000 boys and girls in the under-14 and under-16 age groups across India and is among the world’s largest talent hunt programmes in a single sport.
It is the meet that gives athletes from over 600 districts the first taste of a national competition.
