First Ladakh Aero Expo held in Leh

Leh: LAHDC Leh in collaboration with Ladakh Flying School, Ladakh Aero Sports Association, and Ladakh Paragliding Adventure with the support from a team of volunteers from Space Apples Mumbai jointly organised the first Ladakh Aero Expo Fest, 2023 at Ranbirpur, Leh Tuesday.

President, Ladakh Aero Sports Association, Retd. Col Sonam Wangchuk (MVC) was the chief guest on the occasion whereas Councillor Thiksay, LAHDC Leh, Stanzin Chospel & Councillor Nyoma, LAHDC Leh, Ishey Spalzang were the guests of honor.

Volunteers from Space Apples Mumbai and the President, Ladakh Flying School, Stanzin Sonam conducted interactive sessions and workshops in which school and college students got the opportunity to learn about drones, airplanes, and other aspects of aviation.

Aerial displays and hands-on experiences showcasing the wonders of aviation were the major attractions of the fest aimed to generate interest among students and youths towards aviation and adventure sports in Ladakh.
