Leh: A fire broke out at the industrial estate area Leh, at an individual unit, around 1:00 AM, leading to the complete destruction of the factory premises.
The blaze has caused significant damage to the factory’s machinery and infrastructure, leaving the facility inoperable.
Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.
All workers at the site were safely evacuated and are reported to be unharmed.
Hon’ble Chairman, CEC Adv.Tashi Gyalson, LAHDC Leh, conducted an on site inspection on Wednesday to assess the damage and coordinate the immediate response.
During the inspection, Adv. Gyalson expressed concern over the loss and instructed the concerned officials to complete the assessment and submit the file, after which he will work to secure the maximum possible compensation.
