Leh: The Fire & Fury Corps has on Tuesday destroyed vintage rusted unexploded shells (UXO) spread over 1.5 Sq Kms near Tsaga Village in Eastern Ladakh.

As per reports, Fire & Fury Corps received information on Social Media regarding unexploded shells (UXO) dound near Tsaga Village in remote Eastern Ladakh.
Reacting swiftly, Bomb Disposal Teams of Fire & Fury Corps neutralised quantity 65 vintage, rusted UXOs.
In this regard, Member of Parliament appreciated the efforts of Security forces and making the area of Ladakh safe for the border residents
“Fire & Fury Corps has sent Bomb Disposal Teams at Khurul at night and destroyed quantity 65 vintage rusted unexploded shells (UXO) spread over 1.5 Sq Kms near Tsaga Village in Eastern Ladakh making the area safe for the border residents,” he said in social media post.
“Appreciate the prompt action of Indian Army and the reporter as well,” he added.
