KARGIL: Chairman and Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan Monday flagged off buses to various Higher Secondary Schools of Kargil in the second phase under District Capex 2022-23.
Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Santosh Sukhadeve, Executive Councilors, Councilors, Chief Education Officer and Principals of Higher Secondary Schools of Sankoo, Chanigund, Phey Zanskar, Shakar, Pashkum and Yourbaltak were present.
The CEC said that the issues of drivers and maintenance has been already taken up with the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh and hoped to resolve the issue on priority.
He also urged the concerned constituency Councilors, Village Education Committees, School Faculty members to manage as per past practices till its complete provision.
Meanwhile, the CEC congratulated the principals of the concerned Higher Secondary Schools and hoped for better utilization of the buses.
Pertinently, in the first phase, the CEC handed over buses to Higher Secondary Schools at Drass, Padum, Panikhar, Shargole, Barsoo and Chiktan.
