LEH: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson chaired an important meeting on Monday to review the issues raised on the designs of the road from KBR Airport Leh to Spituk Monastery.
Taking serious concern over the engineering faults in the designs leading to several road accidents in the last few weeks, the CEC advised DC Leh to review the matter with all the concerned stakeholders and to devise effective solutions, ensuring the safety of commuters on this national highway in the future.
Dy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk; DC Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve; Councillor Lower Leh, Tsering Namgyal; Councillor Upper Leh, P.S Tsepag; Councillor Saspol, Smanla Dorjey Nurboo; ACR Leh, BDO Leh, EO MC Leh, and the concerned consultants were in attendance at the meeting.
Meanwhile, Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson chaired a meeting today to discuss the status of the existing sewerage network and the proposed extension of its network for the left-out areas of Leh town.
The meeting was attended by DC/CEO LAHDC Leh, Councillor Lower Leh, Councillor Upper Leh, Councilor Phyang, ACR Leh, SE Hydraulics Leh, Xen Igoo-Phey Division Leh, EO MC Leh, and other concerned officials of the line departments.
