The Administrative Secretary, School Education Department, UT Ladakh, Bhanu Prabha, and Director, School Education Department, UT Ladakh, Tashi Dolma, held an interactive session with parents and teachers at Council Model School, Saboo, on October 25. The meeting was also attended by Chief Education Officer, Leh, Deldan Angmo, Zonal Education Officer, Leh, Padma Dechen, and In-Charge CDPO, Leh, Tsering Youtol.
The open discussion began with a presentation by Headmaster, Lobzang Tsering Rahula, who shared details about the school’s performance, infrastructure progress, and future development plans. VEC Chairman, Rinchen Tundup, highlighted key requirements and ongoing challenges faced by the school, while parents voiced their concerns and suggestions.
The Administrative Secretary and Director assured the parents and teachers that their issues would be addressed promptly and lauded the village community’s active role in strengthening the school. Bhanu Prabha announced the addition of new classrooms this year, reaffirming the department’s commitment to supporting the school’s growth.
Director Tashi Dolma commended the community for making Government Middle School, Saboo a true model for other villages and assured that all concerns raised during the discussion would be taken up on priority.
