Kargil, Dec 3, 2025: Hon’ble Executive Councillor for KDA and Tourism Development Authority, Kacho Mohd Feroz, today chaired a review meeting to assess progress on ongoing tourism projects under KDA Kargil.
The meeting was attended by EC RDD & ZDA Er. Punchok Tashi, EC Sheep & Animal Husbandry Aga Syed Mujtaba, several Hon’ble Councillors of LAHDC Kargil, the Executive Engineer KDA and other senior officials.
After a detailed review of both ongoing and pending works, EC Feroz directed the Executive Engineer to speed up execution of all incomplete and uninitiated tourism-related projects. He stressed that timely completion is crucial for boosting Kargil’s tourism infrastructure and future growth.
He further instructed officials to immediately prepare and finalise estimates for pending works, enabling early submission of proposals to higher authorities for approval and funding.
