Former EC Syed Abass Razvi visits Panikhar Bridge on NH 301

Panikhar: Former Executive Councillor, Aga Syed Abass Rizvi conducted an extensive tour to Panikhar Village to assess the damage caused to Panikhar Bridge on NH 301, which was damaged due to wear and tear and is not fit for movement of vehicles.

He was accompanied by Col Rawat and Col Pritam of Indain Army (Engineering Wing) to assess immidiate restoration of the bridge.

On this occasion Naib Tehsildar Tai Suru Mohd Hussain, General Public and village representatives were also present.

Aga Syed Abass Razvi urged upon the officers to take up the matter for immediate restoration with Higher authorities in Indian Army, keeping in view the importance of the Road (Kargil Zanskar National Highway) as well as an important route for villages like Panikhar, Tangole, Achambur, and further to Parkachik and Rnagdum during winters.

Syed Abass Razvi thanked CEC LAHDC Kargil Dr Jaffar Akhone for taking the matter with Higher authorities also.

On this occasion, the people of Village Panikhar were also there who thanked Syed Abass Razvi and the Indian Army for visiting the Bridge and taking concern of the issues of the people.
