
EC Mehdi reviews issues regarding existing liabilities of funds under BADP
Leh: Executive Councillor for Handloom/Handicraft, Ghulam Mehdi convened a meeting Saturday to review issues regarding the existing liabilities of funds under the Border Area Development Programme (BADP) scheme of the financial year 2019-20 in the Handloom and Handicraft sectors of Leh district.
The meeting was aimed to clear the liabilities incurred while carrying out Skill Upgradation Programmes in the Handicraft and Handloom sectors of Leh district under the BADP scheme during the year 2019-20.
EC Mehdi reviewed sector-wise issues and the total amount of liabilities created during the financial year after the verification by the committee comprising Executive Councillors, Councillors of Border regions, CPO and CCF Leh.
The meeting further decided to release the incurred liabilities amounting to Rs. 1.51 Crores soon.
