Leh: LAHDC, Leh with the support of different organisations has provided free accommodation to needy aspirants arriving at Jammu for appearing in the upcoming SSC examination.
Executive Councillor for Employment, Ghulam Mehdi, accompanied by Councillor Panamik Tsering Sandup met with BJP State General Secretary Org. J&K and Ladakh, Ashok Kaul at BJP Head office, Jammu. At their request, he has extended his support in arranging and providing free accommodation facilities to the SSC Aspirants who have reached Jammu for their upcoming SSC Examination from Ladakh.
The free accommodation facilities have been provided at various places of Jammu including Trikuta Bhavan at Amphalla, Aggarwal Sabha at Vivekanand Chowk, Gurudwara Sahib Matta Chand Kour Samad, Ladakh Sarai, Muthi Girls hostel, Gonpa at Channi Rama,Teacher Bhawan, etc.
EC Ghulam Mehdi and Councillor Tsering Sandup accompanied by coordination team and Executive members of Jammu student’s union visited all the locations and interacted with the aspirants. The aspirants expressed gratitude and satisfaction on the overall arrangement of transport and accommodation.
EC Ghulam Mehdi on behalf of LAHDC, Leh extended gratitude to the BJP General Secretary J&K-Ladakh, Ashok Koul, DC Jammu, Avny Lavasa, President Ladakh Gonpa Association Acharya Stanzin Wangtak, Gurudwara committee and others for extending support and also to student’s union Jammu for their assistance in arrangment and overall coordination.
