Leh, June 27: During a ceremonial function organised at the Council Model School, Ayu, Saboo village, the Department of School Education, LAHDC Leh handed over a school bus to the school today.
It was flagged off by the Dy Chairman/EC Education, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk in presence of Councillor Phyang, Tundup Nurboo, CEO Leh, ZEPO Leh, and ZEO Leh.
Director Ngari Institute, Geshe Tsewang Dorje, Chairman VEC Saboo, Principal CMS Ayu Saboo, staff, students, and village representatives led by Sarpanch, Panches, and Nambardars of Saboo village also attended the event.
Village representatives and other concerned officials expressed their gratitude to the School Education Department Leh under the guidance of Dy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk, area Councillor, Tundup Nurboo, and the Chairman VEC for their efforts in getting a bus sanctioned for the school students of Council Model School Ayu, Saboo.
