Dy Chairman Angchuk reviews preparations for Nubra Sports and Adventure Festival
Leh: Dy Chairman, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk convened a meeting the other day at SDM Nubra’s office to review necessary preparations ahead of the upcoming 2nd edition of Nubra Sports and Adventure Festival 2023.
Councillor Panamik; Councillor Hunder; Departmental HoDs of sub-division Nubra, and other concerned officials were present during the meeting.
Highlighting the importance of the Nurba Sports and Adventure Festival, Dy Chairman instructed all the officers to ensure smooth arrangements for the successful conduct of the festival in Nubra.
Meanwhile, the first edition of Nubra Sports and Adventure Festival last year was aimed to motivate and encourage youths especially women to participate in sports such as rock climbing, cycling, archery etc.
