LEH: Dr Padma Gurmet has been appointed as full time Director of National Institute of Sowa Rigpa, Leh.
Dr Padma’s appointment came after the approval of the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The National Institute of Sowa-Rigpa is an autonomous Institute under the Ministry of AYUSH for preservation, promotion and development of Sowa-Rigpa as a model Institute for evolving high standards of teaching, training, research and patient care and also to invoke scientific outlook to the knowledge of Sowa-Rigpa System of Medicine.
