Kargil: The District Administration, Kargil, in collaboration with the District Police and UT Disaster Response Force (UTDRF), Kargil, organized Disaster Management awareness camps on Wednesday at Middle School Chutuk and High School Minjee.
The initiative aligns with the central government’s directives to enhance disaster preparedness among citizens.
The camps included detailed drills for various emergency scenarios, precautionary measures, and hands-on training in essential disaster response skills.
Students received training in pre-hospitalization treatment, CPR, and practical demonstrations on creating bandages, makeshift stretchers, and slings.
The sessions aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively in the aftermath of a disaster.
