Leh, Feb 18: The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Leh concluded a two-day intensive workshop on Lesson Planning, organised in collaboration with the 17000ft Foundation, aimed at strengthening classroom teaching practices across the district.
The workshop was led by expert resource person Ms. Archana Mahindra, who delivered practical and engaging sessions on effective lesson planning strategies. The training focused on learner-centred pedagogy, structured teaching techniques and classroom-ready approaches designed to improve learning outcomes. A total of 253 teachers from government and private schools of Leh district participated in the programme.
Principal DIET Leh, Sh. Mirza Mehdi, lauded the dedicated efforts of Ms. Mahindra for conducting interactive and motivating sessions. He urged teachers to implement the workshop modules at the grassroots level to ensure maximum academic benefit for students.
Madam Tsering Yangdol, HOD DIET Leh, presented the vote of thanks, appreciating the 17000ft Foundation team and all participants for their enthusiastic involvement and commitment throughout the workshop.
The programme concluded on a positive note, with teachers expressing confidence that the newly acquired lesson planning techniques would significantly enhance classroom effectiveness and student learning experiences.
