
DIET Leh facilitates one-day training program for educational administrators
Leh: DIET Leh facilitated the one-day training program for educational administrators of Leh District in School Quality and Accreditation in context of NEP 2020 aligning strategic implementation of Shaala Siddhi Saturday.
Director School Education Ladakh, Tsering Paldan launched and also attended the program.
During his address at the program launch, Paldan emphasised the critical role that quality education plays in shaping the destiny of a nation.
He stated that education is the cornerstone of progress and development. It is our collective responsibility to provide our children with an environment that nurtures their potential and equips them with the skills they need to thrive in the ever-changing world. He further added that he School Quality and Accreditation Program is a testament to our commitment to this cause.
The program was organised through the collaborative effort of the Department of School and Non-Formal Education and School Standards and Evaluation Unit, NIEPA, New Delhi, and the Department of School Education, Ladakh.
This program aimed to provide comprehensive orientation to the education administrators in the strategic implementation of Shaala Siddhi. A national program on School standards and evaluation/school quality and accreditation framework in the context of NEP 2020. This Standards Framework is a standard School Evaluation tool for improving performances, processes, and learning outcomes.
The resource and expertise shared by NIEPA’s Esteemed faculties, including Prof. Pranati Panda, Professor and Head school Prof. Rasmita Das Swain and Mr. A.N. Reddy, Assistant Professor, all from the Department of School and Non-Formal Education and School Standards and Evaluation Unit, NIEPA, New Delhi.
Around 50 educational administrators, including Principals, ZEOs, HMs of Leh district, participated in the enriching session.
