DIET Leh discusses effective implementation of Jan Bhagidari events

LEH: District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Thursday organised a meeting to discuss the effective implementation of Jan Bhagidari (People’s Participation) events at the level of schools and district, in a run up to the main event of 4th G20 Education Working Group meeting to be held in Pune, Maharashtra between June 19th to 22nd 2023, under the guidance of Principal, Tsetan Dorjey at DIET Leh.

During the meeting key stakeholders gathered to strategize and plan the implementation of Jan Bhagidari events from June 1st to 15th.

The themes for Jan Bhagidari events include Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, NIPUN, Digital Initiatives, New Education Policy and G20 Presidency.

The meeting aimed to distribute work responsibilities among various stakeholders to promote community engagement and participation.

Accordingly, activities such as poems/rhymes, quiz, painting competition, art and craft, dance competition, song on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN, storytelling will be conducted at selected schools of Leh District along with the participation of School Management Committee members, Parents, Students, PRI members, etc.

Also, it was informed that these activities will be uploaded on the Google tracker link of the Ministry of Education.
