Leh: As part of the ongoing Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan, a flagship outreach initiative aimed at tribal empowerment, a comprehensive service delivery camp was successfully conducted today at Takmachik village under the Khaltse Sub-Division. The camp catered to residents of both Takmachik and Lehdoo villages, offering a wide range of essential government services under one roof.
This initiative forms a critical component of the Government’s larger mission to ensure the equitable inclusion of tribal populations in welfare and development programs. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents, underscoring the community’s growing engagement with the initiative.
A variety of services were provided during the camp, including issuance of Resident Certificates and Income Certificates, Aadhaar registration and updates, processing of Kisan Credit Cards (KCC), generation of Ayushman Bharat Golden Cards, and active case finding for Tuberculosis (TB).
The successful conduct of the camp reflects the Government’s commitment to promoting grassroots development and last-mile delivery of services, particularly in remote and marginalized regions.
Notable attendees included Naib Tehsildar Khaltse, Mr. Asgar Ali, representatives from State Bank of India (SBI) Khaltse, officials from the District Social Welfare Office Leh, and various departments who contributed actively to the smooth execution of the event.
