Nubra: The Dharti Aaba Abhiyan Awareness and Benefits Saturation Camps concluded successfully at Tirisha village in the presence of Mohmad Hussian, Naib Tehsildar of Panamik, Tehsil Sumoor, Nubra on Saturday.

The camp witnessed active participation from various departments and an enthusiastic response from the local public, aiming to create awareness and empower rural communities about various departmental schemes and initiatives.

During the camp, departments including the Revenue Department, Agriculture Department, Horticulture Department, Health Department, ICDS Project Nubra (CDPO), Forest Department, Sheep and Animal Husbandry, Rural Development Department, and Social Welfare Department provided information, on-spot services and clarified doubts regarding various government schemes and welfare initiatives.

Key services rendered included the issuance of documents such as 4 Residence Certificates, 4 Income Certificates, and 8 Revenue Extracts by the Revenue Department.

Free medical checkups and health scheme awareness, including 47 NCD screenings, 10 hemoglobin tests, 14 ABHA ID creations and free medicine distribution by the Health Department.

The Agriculture Department distributed 70 bottles of vermi decomposer, 50 packets of Bio-NPK, created 5 Kisan Credit Cards and verified 6 PM-Kisan applications.

Additionally, seeds and farming tools were distributed and people were informed about orchard development. 70 beneficiaries were briefed and orchard sanitation and the SDP/MIDH schemes.

The Sheep Husbandry Department conducted awareness on livestock rearing and the benefits of manure production along with providing vaccination and animal care services through the Animal Husbandry Department.

The Rural Development Department raised awareness on sanitation, MGNREGA and rural housing schemes while the Social Welfare Department facilitated the enrollment of old age and widow pensions.

The Forest Department conducted plantation awareness activities and distributed sapling.
