
Delegations from several villages call on CEC Gyalson; Apprise him of public grievances
Leh: A delegation from Kanji village headed by Councillor Lamayuru, Dr Morup Dorjey called on Chairman/CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson Monday.
Executive Councillor for RDD, Tashi Namgyal Yakzee, and Assistant Engineer, RDD Khaltse Block were also present during the meeting.
The village representatives expressed gratitude to the Hill Council, Leh and especially EC Tashi Yakzee for providing various assistance including the construction of solarised gathering centre for the Women’s Self-Help Group (Ama Tsogspa) of Kanji.
They further put forth several grievances and developmental issues of Kanji village to the Chairman LAHDC Leh.
While interacting with the delegation, CEC Tashi Gyalson stated that villages like Kanji need special attention for which Hill Council, Leh would extend all possible support and assistance to resolve the developmental issues gradually.
The delegation comprised Naib Sarpanch, Nambardar, President Ama Tsogspa, and the President, of Youth Association Kanji.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Gaskit Thundel Tsogspa, Aranu Gongma village, Nubra headed by Councillor Panamik, Tsering Sandup called on the Chairman/CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson today to discuss major developmental issues including road connectivity, tele-communication and other issues of the village.
CEC Tashi Gyalson assured all possible assistance from the Council in resolving the issues and grievances of the people of Aranu Gongma village at the earliest possible.
