Delegation from UWC Rachna Film, Aseem Foundation call on LG

Leh: A delegation from the United Works Corporation, Rachna Film, Indore, Madhya Pradesh comprising its members Manoj Thakkar, Ravi Mittal and Jayest Rajpal called on the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) at Raj Niwas.

Thakkar apprised the LG of the book he had written on various philosophical and spiritual subjects and presented them to the LG. Rajpal pprised LG that Divine Blessing Studios, a team of independent filmmakers from Indore under United Works Corporation Group.

He informed LG about the opening of a Film Studio in Leh with the aim of promoting employment, skill development and promoting tourism in the region and submitted a proposal in this regard. The LG assured them that he would examine the proposal.

Sarang Gosavi, President Aseem Foundation, Pune called on the LG at Raj Niwas. Gosavi apprised the LG about his organization’s contribution to the IT sector in Chuchot, Leh to train the local youths in IT related skills. He requested LG to enhance the IT sector in Ladakh. The LG asked Gosavi to submit a proposal in this regard.
