DDMA issues Avalanche Warning in Kargil
Leh:The District Disaster Management Authority, Kargil has issued a avalanche warning in the Kargil district in the next 24 hours. The Warning is valid upto 6th March, 2023, 05:00 PM.
A notice in this regard has been issued by the authority which reads:
Avalanche with LOW Danger Level is likely to occur above 3200 metres over KARGIL District in the next 24 hours as per the Avalanche Warning Bulletin (AWB) of DGRE, Chandigarh, Warning is valid upto 6th March, 2023, 05:00 PM.
People living in these of the District are advised to take necessary precautions and avoid venturing in the avalanche prone areas.
