Leh: The Deputy Commissioner of Leh, Shrikant Suse on Wednesday begins his tour of Nyoma sub division.
On the day 1, DC Leh visited various locations to check functioning of Jal Jeevan Mission scheme in Nyoma. With community support and PHE Ladakh providing drinking water at doorstep successfully despite temp being below -18.
He also visited the Public Health Centre in Nyoma to review status of ongoing works like construction of doctor quarters,isolation ward & various schemes run by Health Deptt.He directed BMO to conduct outreach camps in remote villages on regular basis.

During the first day of the tour, he also reviewed status of ongoing works of revenue department – Tehsil office complex & Patwarkhana which are being executed by PWD Nyoma under SDP.
He finished the day one of the tour with a visit to Ladakh Green House site in Nyoma. Green vegetables produced under Ladakh Green House project proving major relief during ongoing winter season, he said.
