Kargil: Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC Kargil, Rakesh Kumar (IAS) today chaired a review meeting on the expenditure of the District Capex Budget 2025–26 at the Conference Hall, Baroo.
The DC assessed the progress of ongoing and new developmental works across key sectors including buildings, roads and bridges, non-engineering projects, ICT, machinery and equipment, and furniture and fixtures.
Emphasising the need for optimal fund utilization, the Deputy Commissioner directed executing agencies and financial authorities to ensure proactive coordination and timely completion of projects under the Capex plan.
The meeting was attended by senior district officials including the Joint Directors of Finance and Planning, District Panchayat Officer, Superintending Engineer PHE, DSWO, BDOs, college principals, and other sectoral officers.
